In short

ExpirAlert remembers what expires and warns you in time. Your deadlines and bills stay on your phone. The only thing we put on a server is the family list, so the people in your household can see it too.

We do not sell data. We do not advertise. We do not read your documents and we do not send them anywhere.

What stays on your phone

This stays here, and only leaves if you press "Export":

deadlines: name, category, due date, cost, where it happens, what you need, notes
bills: the utility, the provider, the period, the amount, whether you paid
preferences: theme, language, the hour your alerts go out

The app works with no internet. If you have no account, nothing ever leaves your phone.

What we never read or keep

For an identity card, a passport or a driving licence we ask for the EXPIRY DATE only. We take no photo, never ask for the series, the number or the personal number, and store none of them.

When you photograph a bill so we can read the date, the photo is deleted immediately after reading, before the next screen appears. Only what you confirmed stays: the company, the date, the amount.

We do not ask for and do not use: your location, your contacts, the microphone, your browsing history. There is no analytics tracking and no advertising identifiers.

What goes to the server

The server (Supabase, in Frankfurt, European Union) holds only what it takes for several people to see the same list:

your email address and account identifier, from Google
the name you type into the list, so "who did what" can be read
the deadlines you chose to share with the family
which alerts you want and at what hour

A deadline you keep to yourself never reaches the server. If you do not use the family list, what the server holds is your account and nothing else.

Who we give data to

We do not sell it and we do not hand it to anyone for advertising. We use only:

Supabase — database hosting, inside the European Union
Google — for sign-in only, so you do not need another password
Google Play — for the subscription, if you take one; Google processes the payment and we never see your card

The law can oblige us to give data to authorities, with a legal request. We will tell you if that happens, where we are allowed to.

How long we keep it

Deadlines and bills stay on your phone until you delete them or uninstall the app. Family list data stays on the server for as long as you are in the list. When you delete your account, it all goes.

Your rights

You have the right to see, correct, export and delete everything we hold about you. The first three are done from inside the app, without writing to us:

see and correct any deadline or bill directly in the list
export everything as CSV or PDF from Settings → Your data
delete everything from Settings → Delete the account and data, or straight from the "Delete account" page

If you are in the European Union you also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country. In Romania, ANSPDCP.

Children

The app is not made for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change anything important in this text we tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

Who the operator is

ExpirAlert is operated by YAC PLANET S.R.L., tax ID 50636986, trade register J2024027573006, registered office in Sat Dăești, Comuna Dăești, Strada Calea lui Traian, Nr. 75, Județul Vâlcea, Romania. The same company operates every app published under this account.
